Tip for those who can't seem to get their chest to grow

Chest has always been one of my biggest point, aside from shitty genetics and a rotator cuff injury which has prevented me from doing heavy pressing, I always had difficulty getting it to grow. I tried everything, high frequency, high volume, heavy weight. Funnily enough despite having trained for several years, I've made great progress in a few months. I think it's because it took a while to get my chest big enough to the point I could actually feel it working when I did the exercises. This leads me to my tip which is: YOUR FORM IS PROBABLY SHIT If you were like me, you're probably using your tricep/shoulder for the bulk of the movement and not really effectively lifting with your chest. Even though I had 'good form', I wasn't really using the muscle I was trying to train. I would suggest that if you're having a hard time developing your chest, start out doing flies and really focus on contracting your chest. Maybe doing a couple sets prior to your comp

I've been using Optimum Nutrition's 2:1:1 Recovery as my post-workout shake for the past couple years. I've been really satisfied with the results, but it seems that product is out of commission. Strength loss after deloading-Any tips?

Hey guys, looking for some tips/advice as to what might be causing my loss in strength & how I can continue progressing in the gym. Some background: I'm a relatively new lifter. For the last year or so I've been running a linear PPL split, and its been going great up until about a month ago, when my lifts stalled across the board, and then even started regressing a bit. After this, I decided to go ahead and give my body a break by taking a deload week (decreasing working weights by 50%). Its been about a week now since my deload ended and my lifts have dropped significantly and don't seem to be going back up. For example, weeks prior to my deload I was hitting 190lbs on bench for a 5x5, and today I struggled to hit 160, had to drop the weight down to 155 to complete the remaining 2 sets. What's stumped me is that nothing has changed. My diet & protein intake has been the same, besides eating a bit more over the holidays, I'm sleeping 7-8 hours a night an

(Request) Bodybuilding tips for beginner?

No idea where to start. I am a 25 year old male, 5’3, 115-120 pounds. I fluctuate between that daily. I have been building up stamina just to get used to working out. Recently underwent Surgery for Renal Cancer, had a kidney removed. I’d like to be in shape since I am no longer fatigued every day. Where should I start? I have a fast metabolism. I do 20-30 of cardio, then 20-30 minutes of lifting, for about a month. Have barely seen results. I don’t want to be super bulky, I like my physique now, I’d just like to have it be more defined and a bit bigger. Maybe I am not eating enough? I eat around 2000 calories, but even that’s hard for me to meet daily. If someone could point me in the direction of body building basics. That’d be swell. No idea where to start. Is there any relationship to the amount of DOMs you get to the size of muscle growth?

I.e. If I’m absolutely ruined after a hypertrophy session versus a little sore, will I be gaining more muscle from the “wrecked” session? I.e. Calling all BB history buffs, your help would be much appreciated! I'm creating a glossary of the most legendary bodybuilders from the Silver Era up until the Golden Era (so up until the early 90s - Yates is the most recent name I've used) in alphabetical order of course, depending on the first letter of either their first name or last name. Example: A for A rnold, or H for Lee H aney. Both work. The 3 letters that I'm missing are: Q, U, X . I'd really appreciate some of your thoughts and suggestions! Advice on Alcohol over New Years Period

Hey guys/gals, I'm not a professional body builder, but I am shredding, and have been over the past 2-3 months. I have lost 5kg thus far, and sitting at a body fat of 4.6%. Anyways, I have quite a few events coming up, and looking for advice on what is the best alcohol beverage to consume whilst still trying to maintain a shred. I know that no alcohol is the obvious answer, but for someone who wants to enjoy the new years with my friends I'm looking for an acceptable option. I'm thinking maybe Gin and Tonic with Lime may be acceptable? Just looking for peoples advice and what they think would not punish me too much. Thanks in advance! Edgar Artiga One of the first things you notice about IFBB Pro League athlete Eren Legend is the phrase tattooed on his chest: “Lost in the world.” For someone who has firmly established his credentials as a competitive athlete and celebrity trainer, he would seem the last person you’d expect to feel unmoored and alienated. “I got that tattoo when I was about 22, and at that time I felt lost, obviously,” says Legend, 28. “My journey hasn’t been as challenging as other people’s, not that I haven’t had to overcome difficulties. But I had yet to find my purpose.” Soon afterward, Legend found his purpose when he entered a fitness program . He quickly advanced and almost immediately began appearing in physique contests. Now he’s an IFBB Pro League competitor in the men’s physique division and one of the most sought after personal trainers in the Toronto area. This “awakening,” as he calls it, has led him to become a creative and effective authority on all things fi

I tried to get more fat on myself but that is imppssible so I started body building. I cant put the daily 100g protein into my body with meat so I'm thinking about getting whey protein. I would drink the whey protein after the workouts (3 times a week, 60minutes) and that be 30g powder and 200ml water (I read this on internet).
