is “natural” bodybuilding a thing?

Hi, first, i am not a bodybuilder. my best friend is wanting to start bodybuilding career. he’s been weight training daily for about two years. i am not sure if he has a hit a plateau or is watching some bad youtubers but he thinks that the only way for him to get as big as he wants is if he takes a small dose of testosterone while bulking. so basically my question is anyone completely natural and successfully getting to the goals they set for themselves?? i don’t want him to get carried away in the future because lifting has taken over his life and i don’t want this to become a problem for him. tl;dr can you be 100% natural and still be a bodybuilder? Bulking confusion

Flair~question So I've been trying to bulk without getting too fat. However I'm a wee bit confused. Essentially when filling out the info for the calculator I say that my day job is sedentary but my exercise is extremely intense; it then gives me my maintenance, my surplus etc. However my surplus seems way too low. Where if I were to follow it with my exercise routine, my daily calorie intake would be lower than my maintenance. So I just wanted to ask do I just check the most active options for everything or is it normal to end up with a calorie intake below the maintenance after exercising? Why Do It:  “Adding these suspension trainer exercises to the end of your workout will give you a final burn,” says Zack Van Wagoner, a trainer and a TRX coach in San Francisco. “These moves also target the smaller stabilizer muscles you might have missed when doing exercises like leg extensions and hamstring curls.” [RELATED1] Directions:  Adjust the suspension trainer strap to midcalf. Perform two to four rounds, depending on your level of conditioning, with as little rest as possible. (Try to limit yourself to 15 to 30 seconds between rounds.) I've come back to the gym after 10 days of vacation (no workout at all) and while I thought to have less strength I actually noticed that I managed to lift more than I used to. Someone said to me that it has something to do with the cortisol levels but can someone explain me this in detail? Does this mean that I should rest more? I usually do lift 3 days, cardio/abs 2 days and rest the other 2. Thanks. Since 1984, who is your least favorite Mr. Olympia?

Phil Heath is not an option because obviously most people will pick him. And I used 1984 because: 1) It is the year that Haney won his first Mr. Olympia 2) It was somewhat the start of the mass monster era (even though most will argue Dorian started it) 3) The large majority of us were not alive before Haney's time I personally dislike Jay the most though. I am 19, male. Height : 185 cm, weight : 75kg. I am skinny fat at around 20-25% body fat. I started eating more by having a slight caloric surplus and was wondering should I try to get stronger or build my muscles? So I always thought sugars and protein helped you have energy in your workout, and helped you get the most of your lifts when it comes to building muscle mass. Are there any studies on training a full body daily routine but not to fatigue, in a consistent manner?

I watched a great snippet of the Joe Rogan podcast with a trainer for MMA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vR0m0Vt3JF4 It got my inspired and interested to try a new consistency based routine that does not train until fatigue but instead trains everyday, every muscle group, packing on more volume and more reps over the course of the week's training. The benefits are decreased overall training time(considering no need for rest periods because of rotation muscle groups). In terms of volume, over a year this would produce hundreds more hours of training. The difference being that the routine is tailored to hit the sweet spot of being able to train every day without significant pain, fatigue, soreness and stress. Since the training is lighter, but daily, one could train the whole body each day since each muscle group is not fatigued and the person could switching instantly to another body-part after completing a set, saving time while the other body-part rests. Hey all, I was wondering if anybody here used one of the seemingly endless number of premade meal services that deliver food to your door nowadays. I am not looking for a full meal replacement plan or anything, but I wouldn’t mind paying for 2 5-800 calorie meals a day just to add some variety to my chicken breast and rice routine.
