Having success with my routine, but the faq mentions "mixing it up"
How necessary is changing the exercises I do? Is this like an annual change or something? I like my routine and it sounds like a lot of effort to change everything.
Thoughts on my routine?
Day 1: Bicep/Back Pull ups/chin ups/negatives Preacher curl machine (4 sets of 12) Vbar pulldown(4x10) 21s(3 sets) sitting vbar rows(4x12) Finisher curls(incline sitting hammer, Cable with elbow behind hips, preacher ezcurl) Superset some abs somewhere
Day 2: Chest/Tris/squats Bench Press: 4x8 or Push Press 4x12 tricep cable pushdown(4x12) incline press(4x12)(superset reverse curls) Tricep overheads (4x15)(superset reverse wrist curls) Squats(170x8)(superset calf raises) Flies/cable flies(4x12) Tricep burnout(tricep machine, reverse tricep pushdown)
Day 3: Shoulders/deadlifts Overhead press/push press 4 sets of 8-12 Lateral/front raises 3 sets of 15 (superset smith shrugs) Dead lift(4x8) Facepulls 4x8(super set cable crunches) Dumbbell shrugs 3x10(superset side/rear delt raises)
