When doing deadlifts, do use press down in the ground for the whole lift or just when you get to your knees?
Because I’ve been doing the latter, where your push the ground away then use your back. That’s what Athelean X told me. Problem is back is rounding hella. I’m killing it. Probably stunted my growth to be honest. So other people have told me to do that the whole entire lift, the only part that changes when you get to your knees is you push your hips in. But wouldn’t this only work the glutes and hammys instead of the posterior chain? Anyway, do you think all this back damage is permanent or can I recover?
