Beginner help!

Hi everyone i was hoping i could come here and possibly get some help. I am brand new into lifting and I just recently started February 1st. Before that i was just running about 45 minutes a day for about 2 months to work on my cardio. I've lifted weights with some friends before but i am pretty much a novice at this point. What are some tips and tricks you guys can give me? What do you guys think of free weights vs machines? My main goal is to lose my beer belly and get into the best shape in my life since high school. Currently 26 years old, 5'6 205 pounds.

Here is my current schedule, I start everyday with about 10 min of cardio.

Day 1 - Chest, tris, and shoulders

Day 2- Biceps, back

Day 3 - Legs and cardio

Day 4 -Rest

Day 5- Start routine over again.

I've also gotten some back pain as well, is that normal? Should I change my posture more? What are some changes i can make to get better traction?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
