Weird knee "Injury" - No pain but throbbing

Hi all,

I've been lifting/squatting for the past 18 months, and have so far had no injury issues at all.

I have, however, recently started to develop a persistent "throb" on my inner knee. This seems to be caused by my squatting, as I can't think of any other exercise that may anger my knee.

There is no pain accompanying this, but the throbbing is visible through the skin (which is a bit weird).

Any ideas what this may be/possible solutions or course of action I should take?

Advice appreciated. Thanks
