Is it possible to train both legs and everything else at the same time properly?
Last year I spent some time training my chest, back, arms etc. by lifting, various exercises, boxing, using different 'machines' (my sister has a personal gym) and so on.
I had to stop because of school and this summer vacation I want to start training again. It might be worth noting that I'm 17 years old, male and thin/underweight.
I already have quite some leg muscle as I'm a cyclist but I'd like to get some running going on as I would like to improve my running condition and speed.
Now I'm wondering though, is it possible to train both my running and my other muscles at the same time? So say I go training 3 times a week, each session 1-2 hours, I'd spend half an hour running and the rest of the time would be spent lifting and boxing and such.
If I eat enough, would my body be able to properly build up both my condition/'running muscles' and other muscles at the same time if I don't overdo it? Or will both grow just grow very slowly?
Sorry if I'm asking dumb questions. I don't know much about muscle training :)
